What do these terms govern?

What kind of website is this?

An independent project with information about the Tipsport Vegas brand that also works as an affiliate site. “Website” means the pages at tipsport-recenze.cz.

Who is a user, and what is an affiliate link?

A user is anyone who visits the website or makes use of its content in some other way, regardless of whether they are a natural or a legal person. An affiliate link points to a gambling operator or to one of its business partners, and a click on it may bring the website operator a commission.

Two different roles meet on this website, and it helps to keep them apart.

• The website tipsport-recenze.cz is independent. It offers overviews, reviews and news about online gambling, above all about the Tipsport Vegas brand, and its content is for information only. It does not provide gambling, so its operator is not an operator under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling. It keeps no player accounts, accepts no deposits, offers no play and checks no identities.
• The gambling operator, Tipsport.net a.s., IČO 28178653, Politických vězňů 156/21, 266 01 Beroun, sets the binding rules and conditions. It holds a licence from the Czech Ministry of Finance, which can be verified in the list of licensed operators published by MF ČR.

The texts, graphics, structure, databases and source code of the website are protected by copyright, specifically by zákon č. 121/2000 Sb., the Copyright Act, as amended. Outside the scope of personal use, the content may not be used without the operator's prior written consent; in particular, it may not be distributed, copied or modified.

The Tipsport Vegas name and the related trademarks belong to their owner. The website mentions them only descriptively, so that it is clear which brand and which products the information relates to. The website operator has no rights to these marks, and their appearance on the website does not create any relationship between the operator and the trademark owner.

In accordance with Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, we point out that the website contains affiliate links. These may take users to the pages of a gambling operator or its business partners.

A click on an affiliate link may entitle the website operator to a commission. The user bears no additional costs for this. Ratings, ordering and the content of information on the website are not affected by it.

Nothing published on the website is legal, financial, tax or other professional advice; the content is purely informational. The website operator makes a reasonable effort to keep it correct and up to date, yet it cannot be ruled out that some information will be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Users are therefore obliged to check it in official sources before taking any decision, especially directly with the gambling operator. The website is not responsible for the content and availability of third-party pages it links to, for the offers and terms of the gambling operator, or for any harm or loss arising from the use of information or services provided by third parties. Nor is the website operator a contracting party to any legal relationship that the user enters into with the gambling operator.

This website writes about gambling, which is governed by zákon č. 186/2016 Sb. The information is therefore intended only for persons over 18 years of age, and the user confirms that this applies to them. Anyone younger than 18 is barred from it.

In brief: the website processes personal data in accordance with legal regulations, which include

• zákon č. 110/2019 Sb., on the processing of personal data,
• the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR,
• other regulations connected with the processing.

All legal relationships arising in connection with the use of the website are subject to Czech law, primarily the Civil Code and other applicable regulations. Any disputes are decided by the website operator's general court in the Czech Republic.

A user who is a consumer may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI) for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute. The version of the terms that applies is always the one currently published on the website, because each new version takes effect at the moment of publication. The website operator may change and supplement the terms unilaterally at any time, so users should read them on an ongoing basis; doing so is their obligation. If they continue to use the website after a change, they thereby agree to the current version.

Each provision of these terms stands on its own: if one of them is invalid or ineffective, the validity and effectiveness of the others are not affected. Anything that the terms do not expressly regulate is governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic.
